Policy Ideation Cards
Influencing policy process
The Policy Ideation Cards project aims to develop novel and smarter ways to use ideation cards in the policy process. This will be done in collaboration with the University of Nottingham Institute for Policy and Engagement and will focus on academics and universities as actors trying to influence the policy process based on their research evidence.
The objective is to support individuals and groups in their campaigning efforts and present them with novel ways to do so. This will be done through an ideation card set focusing on the policy process and campaigning, enabling users to analyse their current situation as well as plan their campaign.
The card set is currently in development, will go through several phases for expert led focus group feedback and will then be used in an workshop for further feedback and usability testing.
Our final goal is to produce an ideation card set in addition to a process accommodating the cards that could be extended to other policy areas through future work. The card set will also feature within the Cardographer platform - providing users with analytics and visualisations about their design, and allowing for comparisons with other campaign designs.
