AMRG Student receives 2nd place at QuEST Global Ingenium competition 2019

 

QuEST Global Recognizes Engineering Talent in the UK through its Engineering Innovation Contest ‘Ingenium’

Halar Memon recieves 2nd place at Ingenium competition 2019

The annual engineering competition encourages students to share their creative engineering ideas with suggestions to help solve real-world problems. The grand finale was held at the Radission Blu Hotel, Derby, East Midlands on 17 September 2019.

Our very own Advanced Materials Research Group student Halar Memon recieved 2nd runner-up at this years competition, showcasing his project Development of polymeric icephobic nanocomposites respectively.

Halar alongside the other runner-up recieved a cash prize, and all ten finalists were individually acknowledged for their efforts and participation in the event, and were gifted mementos during a black tie awards ceremony attended by industry leaders, associated institutions and university heads.
