Medical student wins prize at the Intensive Care Society's State of the Art Meeting 2016

Congratulations to Miriam Sanderson, one of our medical undergraduates for winning the Best Research Oral Presentation Award at the Intensive Care Society's The State of the Art Meeting 2016!

She was awarded for her BMedSci study -- "Prediction of 30 day mortality in patients with Sepsis; an exploratory analysis of care process and patient characteristics" -- supervised by Dr Tricia McKeever, Dr Iain Moppett, Dr Marc Chikhani and Dr Mark Simmonds.

Medical students at Nottingham complete a research project during their third year in an area of their choice. This project is written up in a 10,000-word dissertation as part of the integrated BMedSci degree in the 5-year Medicine BMBS course at the University of Nottingham School of Medicine.
