Applications are now open for two excellent opportunities to join the leading biomaterials research teams at UoN and MIT as part of the EPSRC-funded project "Designing Bio-Instructive Materials for Translation-Ready Medical Devices".
Both posts are 4-year UoN tenure track appointments which aim to exploit the opportunities in novel cell-instructive biomaterials underway in the laboratories of Daniel Anderson and Robert Langer (MIT) and Morgan Alexander (UoN). The 4-year fellowship would be split between The Koch Institute, MIT (QS World Ranked 1st) and The School of Pharmacy (QS World Ranked 8th), UoN. A permanent post at the University of Nottingham is expected upon completion of the fellowship.
To apply, an initial project proposal (max. 500 words) must be submitted by Friday 9th June 2023 to Morgan Alexander using this short online form. Shortlisted applicants will then be invited to submit a full proposal by Friday 25th August 2023 through the University of Nottingham job vacancy page. Interviews based upon these applications will be arranged in mid-September, with anticipated start dates of October/November 2023.
