Most of our research focuses on atopic eczema because the disease is so common, its prevalence is rising, it causes a lot of suffering, and we understand little about its causes, treatment and prevention.
The following research carried out by CEBD, will hopefully start to shed some light on these uncertainties.
The CLOTHES Trial is a clinical trial involving 300 children with moderate or severe eczema. It has been designed to evaluate the role of specialist clothing in the management of eczema.
