Dermatologist wins BAD Education Bursary for PhD study

 

Dr Maulina Sharma, Consultant Dermatologist at the Derby Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Nottingham School of Medicine, has been awarded a £5000 bursary by the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD) to support her part-time PhD study at Nottingham.

The airm of her PhD project is to explore the facilitators and barriers for implementation of a standardized national core-curriculum, taking dermatology as a clinical specialty.

Her PhD supervisors are Professor Gill Doody, Dr Ruth Murphy and Dr Rakesh Patel.
