The Centre of Evidence Based Dermatology (CEBD) would like to congratulate Mitesh Patel for being awarded the prestigious GP Trainee of the Year Award 2019 by the Royal College of General Practitioners. Until recently was a UK DCTN GP Fellow carrying out Cellulitis research at the CEBD.
Mitesh says he would like to thank the CEBD for their help in receiving this award, and in particular Professors Kim Thomas and Joe Kai for creating an environment for him to develop as a junior researcher and for giving him their continual support. He hopes to be back one day, and has now embarked on specialist training in internal medicine.
