More research from our team

Our highly regarded researchers are conducting a diverse range of projects related to epigenetics and the tumour micro-environment, from cell dormancy and signalling to tumour progression and drug resistance.

Dr Cinzia Allegrucci is studying the role of cancer stem cells and epigenetic pathways in tumour cell dormancy and disease recurrence.

Dr Victoria James is developing models to help better understand the molecular basis of tumour cell dormancy, the relationship with membrane vesicle dynamics, and subsequent cancer metastasis.

Professor Nigel Mongan is examining the role of epigenetic modifiers in tumour progression and metastasis.

Dr Cyril Rauch is using physics to model membrane mechanics, determining the impact on cancer cell signalling and the role of the membrane in multi-drug resistance.

Dr Kevin Gough is using next-generation phage display to discover cancer biomarkers and develop improved drug delivery systems.
