More research from our team

Our respected research team is carrying out a diverse range of projects related to the impact the postnatal environment (nutritional and environmental enrichment) has on early behavioural development in the rat – as well as behavioural trajectories through higher age. They’re examining behavioural factors such as exploration, emotional behaviour and learning and memory.

Dr Peter Voigt is focused on the interplay between nutrition and behaviour during sensitive phases of development. As well as covering the development between adolescence and middle age, his work also considers the consequences for a healthy ageing process.
