Aims

  • Finalise a systematic review and meta-analysis of physical activity interventions in children with T1DM
  • Conduct a scoping review of technology-based interventions for CYP with diabetes
  • Network with academic, clinical and commissioning collaborators to finalise multi-disciplinary research partnerships
  • Patient and Public Engagement: Stakeholder consultative exercise with children who have T1DM, their parents/carers and healthcare professionals
  • Develop content for a technology-based health communications intervention to promote physical activity in children with T1DM
  • Develop and submit an application for NIHR RfPB funding

Systematic review; scoping review; PPI consultation; online package content development; NIHR RfPB bid development.

Stage of Development

Completed: PPI undertaken; Reviews published; Content for online prototype developed and reviewed; NIHR RfPB funding secured; Final report submitted.
