Aims

To finalise and test a prototype for an online intervention to promote physical activity in children aged 9-12 years with T1DM. Results of this study will inform and support our grant submission to the NIHR RfPB stream, in which we propose to test the feasibility of successfully identifying and recruiting patients, and delivering this intervention through the NHS.

Objectives

1. Develop a final online specification for SKIP to be tested in the future trial (addressing any technical problems)

2. Assess acceptability of the SKIP prototype to children, parents and healthcare professionals.

Methods

Online package development, PPI consultations; expert panel review.

Stage of Development

Expert panel review underway. Work informed the SKIP study.
