Staffordshire Place-Name Project launched

An exciting new volunteer project has been launched in conjunction with the Staffordshire Archives and Heritage Service to restart collection of Staffordshire place-name material for use in the English Place-Name Society county survey. The project runs every Wednesday afternoon at the Staffordshire Record Office, and there are also opportunities for volunteers to work remotely. The project has a blog, Facebook page and Twitter feed, where you can follow our progress or get involved.
