Human physiology, metabolism and nutrition research at the University of Nottingham was established in the late 1960's. Currently led by Prof. Paul Greenhaff, the Experimental Medicine, Metabolic and Nutritional Physiology Research Group now has a well regarded international research standing and ranks within the top 10 in the UK according to the Research Excellence Framework.
With the recruitment of a talented and highly experienced research team coupled with outstanding facilities, we are able to deliver 'world leading' and 'internationally excellent' research. Our commitment to collaborate with industry and clinical research networks enables us to deliver groundbreaking research, as well as share knowledge and new developments all in accordance with our research themes.
