Aims

  1. To develop the role and competencies of Advanced Nurse Practitioners working with older people living with frailty.
  2. To establish the role of ANP on Healthcare of the Older Person Wards.

Methods

  1. A Delphi study to gain expert consensus on the role and competencies of ANPs working with older people living with frailty
  2. A service evaluation of the effectiveness, benefits and challenges of integrating ANPs on Healthcare of the Older Person Wards. 

Stage of Development

Delphi study completed, service evaluation currently being conducted.
