NCARE (Nottingham Centre for the Advancement of Research into Supportive, Palliative and End-of-life Care)

Patient and Public Involvement (PPI)

Research at NCARE is supported by our Patient and Public Involvement Advisory Panel.

The panel is made up of members of the general public who provide advice and guidance at all stages of every project. They also help to ensure our research reflects public priorities for new knowledge and care and treatment interventions, and is grounded in real-world experience.

The work of the panel includes commenting on the relevance and significance of prospective applications, ethical issues, the content of participant recruitment materials, and contributing to the analysis, writing and dissemination of findings.
