NICEP promotes interdisciplinary research at the cross roads between Economics and Politics in four main areas: representation, political behavior, political economy and public policy, and quality of government. Theoretical, empirical and experimental papers related to these areas are particularly welcome.
The conference will host invited sessions with the following confirmed speakers: Raymond Duch (Oxford), Georgy Egorov (Northwestern), Dave Lewis (Vanderbilt), Melissa Marschall (Rice) and Torsten Persson (IIES and CIFAR). The conference will be a medium size event (40-50 participants), which in addition to the invited sessions, will include small panels allowing time for discussion.
