We increasingly rely upon mathematical modelling of the world around us to predict everything from the weather to traffic, and so it is increasingly vital to be able to make predictions without complete information. This research priority area brings together expertise from across the institution to develop and study mathematical models, with an emphasis on novel interdisciplinary collaborations.
