The Faculty of Science at the University of Nottingham is keen to invite expressions of interest from exceptional researchers for the current round of the UKRI (UK Research and Innovation) ‘Future Leaders Fellowship’.
The fellowships provide up to seven years’ funding. There are no restrictions on nationality or background other than applicants are expected to be at an early stage of their career – typically in a postdoctoral or junior academic role – or an equivalent if outside a university environment. The scheme is flexible and allows part-time working.
As the university has a restriction on the number of supported applicants, we are asking candidates to submit the following to us by 15 September 2022: an expression of interest form providing a summary, a CV and list of outputs using the template on the UKRI page, and an outline case for support of up to two pages covering:
