Maintaining the University's web presence:
the roles involved and training & support required
The University's Web Steering Group is working to clarify the responsibilities
for maintaining University web sites and the training and support required by
staff involved. This event is your opportunity to discuss the proposed roles
and responsibilities, comment on draft training plans, and to contribute to
their development.
Aims and Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- meet and share experience with web co-ordinators from around the University
- hear news of the latest developments in the University regarding management
of the University's web presence and training & support available for
web co-ordinators and web editors
- contribute to refining the roles of the parties involved in maintaining
the University's web presence
- contribute to the development of a training plan to enhance web authoring
skills
Process:
Contributions from the University's Web Editor & from TSDU, small group
discussions and feedback.
Who should attend:
Those who are the designated Web Co-ordinator for their area.
