The web co-ordinators, representing Schools, research units and administrative departments, meet occasionally to discuss topical issues in web publishing at the University. There may be new developments that the web team want to share and get feedback on, there may be issues that have arisen in strategy discussions (at Web Strategy Board which has replace Web Steering Group) that that have been referred to web co-ordinators for comment, or issues can be raised by the web co-ordinators for discussion among peers and with the ears of the central web team available too. 21st January 2004 - On-line learning opportunities - SEDU have a limited number of licences for on-line learning materials covering HTML, Dreamweaver, web graphics and programming. There is an introductory session for interested staff.

23rd October 2002 - A new Content Management System - The University is planning to acquire a Content Management System (CMS) for our web sites. The Selection Committee are asking for your contribution to determining selection criteria.

18th April 2002 - Meet the new Web Editor - Tony Scott has joined us as the new manager of the web team, and he has agreed to come along to meet you, to share his ideas for developing the University's web presence and to learn about your priorities.

23rd August 2001 - Zope - the system used to run the Medical School's networked learning environment. Presented by Simon Wilkinson of the Medical School's Networked Learning Environment Team.
