Postgraduate Research Student,
Mariana is currently undertaking a PhD in the School of Sociology and Social Policy at the University of Nottingham. She holds a BA in Social Work from the University Complutense of Madrid and an MA in Development Studies from the University of Sussex (Institute of Development Studies). Her research aims to understand the role of Catholic religious communities in the anti-trafficking movement, specifically in fighting against sexual exploitation.
