Not attending?
There are many reasons why you may choose not to or be unable to attend a graduation ceremony.
If you are planning or unable to attend your graduation ceremony, you can either:
- graduate in absentia and receive your certificate and transcripts in the post and online following your graduation
- defer your graduation until a later date
You will need to let us know how you would like to graduate by completing registration. You will receive an email to your university email address inviting you to register. You will then be able to log in to NottinghamHub and select the graduation tile to complete the registration form. Registration will open on at 10am on 23 April and will close at 12 noon on 13 June.
Register your graduation choice
There is also an option for students in certain specific circumstances to graduate earlier. Visit our 'Can I get my documents early' webpage to find out more.
What to do if you've registered but can't make it?
If you have registered to attend a ceremony but can no longer attend, please contact the graduation team as soon as possible.
