The charge for parking will be £10 per vehicle, per ceremony.

I am staying in the Orchard Hotel, do I still need to pay for parking?

My party are arriving in separate vehicles. Am I able to book for more than one car?
Yes, a charge will apply for each car.

Unfortunately we are not able to offer refunds for parking.

How will I be able to show I have pre-paid for parking?
You will receive a receipt via RingGo to your email. Our staff will be able to check your number plate against our records so you will not need to show this to anyone on the day.

Does the parking charge allow me to park anywhere on campus?
No – please follow the signs and instructions from staff on campus, who will guide you to the designated parking areas for graduation.

How long can I park for on site once I have paid?
Please arrive in plenty of time so that you can check in, get your gown and be seated in the ceremony hall at least 45 minutes before your ceremony starts. To help us manage on-site capacity and reduce waiting times for traffic leaving site, we kindly ask that you leave promptly once your celebrations on campus have finished.

Where can I park for free in Nottingham?

Nottingham operates a number of Park and Ride sites, with more information available here.

University Park Campus is well served by both buses and trams running from those sites, more information is available on our public transport page.

If you are getting the tram we would recommend getting off at University Boulevard (not University of Nottingham).

What happens if I want to extend my parking time to stay on campus longer?
Payment will cover parking for the day of your graduation ceremony. Overnight parking is not available.

If I forget to pay on the day, can I pay afterwards?
No – all parking must be either pre-booked or purchased on the day.

Can I charge my electric car on campus?
