By car
When you arrive, please follow the signs for graduation and our parking attendants will direct you to the nearest available parking space. Some of our graduation parking locations can be a 15-minute walk away, so make sure you give yourself enough time to get there. We recommend bringing a pair of sensible shoes for the walk. Once parked, look out for the signs pointing you to David Ross Sports Village and head straight to check-in and gowning.
Please note that there is a £10 parking charge per vehicle. You can pay on the day but, if possible, please book your space in advance. This is to allow us to plan adequately and manage traffic on the day.
Book your parking
This year, to help manage traffic on campus we ask that you book your parking in advance where possible, to avoid delays when you arrive on campus. Parking will cost £10 per vehicle and will be valid for the day of your ceremony. To avoid long queues at the end of the day and help us manage parking on campus, we ask that you kindly vacate your parking spot promptly once you have finished your celebrations on campus.
To book your parking, follow these steps:
- Download the RingGo app or visit the RingGo website
- Create a login
- Search for code 18973
- Complete payment
- See our FAQs for more details
Parking spaces
We have several car parks across University Park Campus but only a select number of these will be designated for graduation. Please follow the signs for parking on arrival and our graduation staff will guide you to the designated parking areas.
Accessible parking
If you or a member of your party are a blue badge holder, you do not need to pay for parking, provided you display your badge.
If you or your guests have accessibility requirements but aren't blue badge holders, our security team will direct you to a suitable parking space on the day. You will still need to pay for parking via RingGo.
Visit our accessibility and support page for further information or take a look at our parking FAQs.
