All returning (existing) students must complete online registration at the begining of the academic year. Please note the following:
- Most returning students will be invited to register in mid-August via email to your university email account.
- If you have applied for a student loan, you will receive your first instalment on your course start date as long as you have completed your online registration at least 3-5 working days before this date. Postgraduate funding can take 3 weeks from the course start date or registration is completed, whichever is later.
- If you are starting a new course in the current academic year, then please see the instructions for `new` students
- On the NottinghamHub homepage click on the ‘Registration’ tile and follow the steps to complete your online registration.
You need to complete this process within the first 2 weeks of the start of the academic year.
If you are returning to your programme of study following a leave of absence, you will need to complete online registration within the first 2 weeks of your return to study date.
If you do not register by the deadline then you may be suspended from the university. Please note, you will be unable to register if:
- you have an outstanding debt with the university – any debt must be cleared before you can register.
- you have a re-assessment. You will not be invited to register until after results are released and your progression to the next academic year has been confirmed in September 2024.
- you are in thesis pending - you do not need to register if you are going into 'thesis pending' or have an extension to your postgraduate taught dissertation. However, full-time students who are going into 'thesis pending' have the option to register if they wish. Further information can be found on the thesis pending webpage.
