Your safety is the most important thing while you're at University. It's really unlikely you'll suffer from crime or harassment, but if you do we can help.

What you need to know

  • While on campus, if you are worried about your safety or are being harassed, then call the University Security service 24 hours a day on 0115 9518888
  • If you believe you are in danger at any time, call 999 immediately
  • The Student Advice Centre can help if you've been the victim of a crime and need help reporting it or coping with it
  • Nottinghamshire Sexual Violence Support Services provides support if you've suffered rape or sexual abuse of any kind
  • If you think you've been the target of misconduct or harassment from a member of staff at the University, you can find out how to make a complaint
