CST is delighted to be inviting the Director of the Joint International Counter-Terrorism Unit (JICTU), UK, Jane Marriott to deliver a talk for the first seminar in the second semester schedule of the Highlight Speaker Series. Title TBC.

Jane Marriott is the Director of the Joint International Counter-Terrorism Unit (JICTU), a cross-Whitehall body established in April 2016. Jane joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 2001, following roles in the Cabinet Office and Home Office. She most recently served as joint FCO Director for the Middle East and North Africa. Prior to that she was Ambassador to Sana’a, Yemen(2013-15). She was Deputy and Acting Ambassador to Tehran; was an adviser to the US Special Representative to Afghanistan and Pakistan, Richard Holbrooke; has two postings to Iraq, one to Afghanistan and started in the FCO as head of the FCO’s Nuclear Non-Proliferation Team.  She was appointed OBE in 2004 for services in Al Amara, Iraq.
