Description

We are delighted to announce the first Centre for Conflict, Security and Terrorism event of 2021 and the Spring Semester of 2020/21, taking place on Wednesday 3 February from 3-4.30pm - live on Microsoft Teams - entitled 'Emerging military technologies and modern warfare: Legal, ethical and moral aspects in international perspective'.

Hosted by CST Co-Director Dr Edward Burke, this will invite:

  • Dr Peter Lee, Professor of Applied Ethics and Director, Security and Risk Research and Innovation, University of Portsmouth
  • Dr Bettina Renz, Professor of International Security, University of Nottingham
  • Dr Tom Smith, Principal Lecturer in International Relations, University of Portsmouth
