Thunder Wall

The Thunder Wall in C47, Jubilee Campus

What is the Thunder Wall?  The Thunder Wall is a virtual flipchart.  If you are using powerpoint, you can only usually display one slide at a time.  The Thunder Wall allows you to display six screens simultaneously, side by side.  This is great for comparing data.  You can also write on the slides or make new ones, using the easle, as you go along.  And it's not just powerpoint.  You can upload images or webpages to view simultaneously.  And although you can only display six screens at once, you can upload as many images/slides/webpages as you like and drag them in and out of the display to suite your teaching needs.  This page helps you find out how to book the wall, how to use it, and gives you a chance to read about the experiences of other staff who have used this technology.

The Thunder Wall in Hallward Library Level 1

There is also a Thunder Wall in the Hallward Library.  You can book this through the UNLOC catalogue.
