About this event

The University of Nottingham is a world leader in data-intensive research with impact in areas such as health and medicine, advanced manufacturing, net zero, and economic and societal policy. As we look to the future, against a backdrop of the rise of data science, and in particular artificial intelligence (AI), we will be advancing our profile on the world stage while boosting our local impact, via programmes such as the new Castle Meadow Campus development.

Join us at this free event to discover the challenges facing Nottingham, the East Midlands, the UK, and the world. Dr Ben Lucas will explore how the University of Nottingham is investing in innovative technological solutions to address these challenges, and the potential benefits for the wider SME community.

We will also be welcoming back Dr Maria Kordowicz to this Business Network event, as she launches her guide to good relationships at work. Maria presented the rationale for the project at an earlier event and secured partnerships with Alex Wilkinson and Simon Finbery. Utilising funding from the Business Engagement team, Maria, Alex, and Simon were able to develop the guide focussing on inclusion, managing conflict, generational differences and communication.
