The event was held by E.ON, one of our partner employers, to highlight the value of skills development within the organisation. It was an opportunity for internal E.ON staff to explore the importance of skills, participate in expert panel discussions, and celebrate the achievements of colleagues through the awards.

Lakhveer Kallar, Enterprise Architect, received the Skills Playmaker Award because of his professional growth at E.ON and his dedication to supporting others within the organisation on their development journey. He is a champion of data science skills development within the workplace and is actively supporting future talent through his work.

“I was over the moon to be chosen for the award this year. There are a lot of great apprentices in E.ON and so I was really surprised to win! I’m grateful for all the support my team, colleagues and manager have given me, which has made doing this so much easier.”

Through his time on our Data Scientist Degree Apprenticeship, Lakhveer has developed a strong foundation in data science, analytics and problem-solving which has allowed him to use his skills to make a real impact within the workplace. His ability to apply his learning at E.ON and support others with his skills demonstrates the power of our Degree Apprenticeship programmes in driving success for both apprentices and employers alike.
