School of Pharmacy

An Electronic First in Pharmacy

The School of Pharmacy has recently started the rollout of a new system of electronic record keeping for laboratory research, bringing research practice in the School in line with best practice in industry.   The electronic lab book software will replace paper-based lab records, providing benefits like readily searchable research data, access to standard methodologies, and automated data capture.   This is the first time that such software has been adopted for general use in the University, and places Nottingham's Pharmacy School at the forefront of research practice both within Nottingham and among other Pharmacy Schools in the UK and worldwide.
