2015 GPhC pre-registration exam success

Congratulations to the class of 2014 on their General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) pre-registration examination results!

88% of the students who took the exam following graduation from our 4-year MPharm programme in 2014 passed, placing our results second in the country from 24 schools of pharmacy. Head of School, Professor Clive Roberts said:

"We are incredibly proud of the achievements of our students and wish them every success in the careers. The results of the pre-registration exam are a key indicator of the quality of our graduates and we know that they will lead and shape the future of the profession."

The GPhC pre-registration examination is taken at the end of the 52-week the pre-registration training year by all students who wish to be registered pharmacists.  The national pass rate varies each year with 74% of students passing at this sitting.

Earlier this year the GPhC published the results of the pre-reg exam for 2011-2014 for the first time and this year's success builds on the School's 3rd place in 2014.
