Royal Society of Chemistry accreditation success

Royal Society of Chemistry logo for accredited degrees

We are delighted to announce that our MSc Drug Discovery and Pharmaceutical Sciences is now accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC).

The RSC is an internationally recognised learned society and professional body for the chemical scientists in the UK. Accreditation by the RSC demonstrates the high standards for chemistry-related education set by the society are being met by the MSc course. These standards are defined by representatives from a range of chemical sciences and both academic and industrial backgrounds.

“Our accreditation is a rigorous evaluation process that is respected around the world. It helps students, their parents and advisers to choose high quality degree programmes. Graduates from an accredited programme will have an advantage not only when applying for jobs but also when they are looking for professional qualifications, such as chartered chemist (CChem) status.”

From the RSC Accreditation of Degree Programmes handbook

Accreditation also highlights the School’s continued commitment to evaluate, refine and develop the course with a view to offering the highest standards of education to our students, and enable them to maximise their employability.
