University of Nottingham prepares to host World Under-24 Ultimate Championships

From the 2nd July through to the 8th July, the University of Nottingham is proud to be hosting the World Flying Disc Federation World Under-24 World Championships at our Highfields Sports Complex. This will see the highest level of ultimate play that is accessible for those of university age and we are delighted to be hosting the prestigious tournament with UK Ultimate.

On the 8th and 9th June, plenty of members of the University of Nottingham's Volleyball club headed down to Sandbanks Beach in Dorset to take on the 2023 BUCS Beach Volleyball Championships. The #GreenandGold were well represented at the event, with 18 competitors across 9 pairs flying the flag for the University of Nottingham.

The 2023 BUCS Outdoors Archery Championships took place earlier this month, and saw the University of Nottingham win more medals than any university present. Held on the 10th and 11th of June, our University of Nottingham team competed at Lilleshall National Sports Centre in Telford.

Nottingham shows great strength at BUCS Weightlifting Championships

Description
The month of April saw the University of Nottingham's weightlifting athletes travel to Wales to enter the 2023 BUCS Weightlifting and Para-Powerlifting Championships. Taking place at Bangor University on the 22nd and 23rd of the month, Nottingham had entrants in both the men's and women's competitions, with huge success across both.

England Touch Nationals return to Nottingham

Description
The England Touch Nationals return to Nottingham this coming bank holiday weekend (29 April to 1 May) with three days of action-packed competition in the largest event of its kind. 46 teams, 700 players, 60 referees and a team of event and support staff will arrive at the University of Nottingham's Highfields Sports Park to fight it out in 10 categories of competition across three days.
