Biography

I am a soil physicist with research spanning into microbiology, focusing on solute and bacteria transport in soil, soil microplastic pollution impacts, and soil water repellency. My projects utilize a range of approaches and modeling techniques to explore these phenomena, with multidisciplinary aims that integrate soil physics, chemistry, and biology. I address the impacts of global warming and seasonal droughts on environmental components, delving into the physics and chemistry of soil water repellency, the wettability of the rhizosphere and plastisphere, and the management of biosolids, manure, and chemicals. Through my research, I aim to contribute to a deeper understanding of soil health and sustainability.
