Biography
Fiona is a Registered Dietitian who joined the University of Nottingham in 2002.
Currently the University Academic Director of the Nottingham Advantage Award across all 3 campuses.
She is also Deputy Head of School in Biosciences and the Director of Education and Student Experience.
In 2017 Fiona was awarded National Teaching Fellow status with the Higher Education Academy (Advance HE).

As a previous Course Manager (Master of Nutrition and MSc in Advanced Dietetic Practice ) and member of both Undergraduate and Postgraduate Teaching and Learning Committees, has played an active role over the last 20 years in developing the School's Teaching and Learning Strategy and monitoring teaching quality in addition to innovating new learning opportunities.
Current Research
Professor McCullough has been a Registered Dietitian since 1995, having worked in a number of clinical and community posts within the UK. Current areas of research interests include the prevention and management of metabolic syndrome and other chronic diseases, as well as the effect of the Ketogenic Diet in children as part of the medical treatment pathway.
