Biography
Dr Shi-Hui Cheng is currently an Assistant Professor in Human Nutrition at the School of Biosciences, University of Nottingham Malaysia. She obtained her PhD in Nutrition Sciences from Universiti Putra Malaysia and completed Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education from University of Nottingham. She is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy, United Kingdom. She is a life member for Nutrition Society of Malaysia and an ordinary member for Malaysian Dietitians' Association. She has two years of teaching experiences in International Medical University before joining University of Nottingham Malaysia

Research Summary
My research focused on the role of nutrition in improving the health and disease, which include:
· Nutritional management of obesity and type 2 diabetes
· Complementary medicine which include underutilized plant
· Application of metabolomics in obesity and type 2 diabetes
