Biography

I received a Natural Sciences (Biology and Chemistry) degree from Durham University in 2012. I worked as a consultant research scientist at ADAS UK Ltd in Cambridge then Nottingham 2012-16. Whilst there I gained project management experience in a multidisciplinary environment, providing agricultural and environmental consultancy. My role encompassed sales and contract management bridging agriculture, industry and academia. During my time there I delivered challenging projects on time and to budget. I have led many collaborative projects such as Innovate UK funded projects and gained experience of project managing complex, multi-client projects; managing projects from bid stage to final reports.

In January 2016 I joined the University of Nottingham as Project Manager of the EPSRC Programme Grant in Next Generation Biomaterials Discovery in the School of Pharmacy: a five-year, multidisciplinary research programme which aimed to make the leap from 2D to 3D in the development of advanced materials and realise the true potential of regenerative medicine and medical devices for the future. In November 2018 I joined the Precision Imaging Beacon of Excellence as the Research Development Manager. In June 2021 I started as Senior Research Manager in the Faculty of Science.
