Business Engagement

Business Engagement coordinates the University’s strategic partnerships and collaborations with industry and other organisations, and regional engagement activity. We work with our academics and external partners to deliver research impact and to create new commercial opportunities.  

• Support the academic community to develop relationships with external organisations.   

• Engage with businesses to deliver services.  

• Engage with SMEs and local partners, running regular events through our business networks. 

• Develop strategic partnerships with key corporate businesses. 

• Support access to collaborative R&D funding, including Knowledge Transfer Partnerships and Innovate UK. 

• Deliver a programme of professional and work-based learning through Continued Professional Development and Degree Apprenticeships.

• Work with our Asia Business Centre to identify, access and develop opportunities and partnerships in Asia and to collaborate with our campuses in Asia.

• Work with student and academic entrepreneurs based on the University of Nottingham Innovation Park.
