A stall was run on behalf of the 3D Printing Group by the CDTs which involved demonstrations on 3D printers and general discussions on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) with the pupils attending the event.
Pint of Science Launch Event- Nottingham 11 April 2016
The 3D Printing Group stall was run as part of this taster event for the main festival which will be held in May. This involved giving demonstrations to attendees and the press of the 4 themes which will be run in May.
Nottingham in Parliament Day- 25 October 2016
Nottingham in Parliament Day was a one-day take-over of Westminster on the 25th October 2016. The day was an opportunity to showcase the businesses, institutions and people that make Nottingham great! This was an exciting opportunity for the CDT to demonstrate the research that is being carried out by our students and also the opportunities that the Centre offers to potential post graduate students.
Industrial Visit Day- 6 April 2017
In April 2017 the CDT invited its existing and potential new industrial partners to provide an overview and update on students' project and CDT's overall progression as a Centre. The feedback received was very positive with new industrial companies considering sponsoring future CDT students.

Pint of Science- 18 May 2017
The Pint of Science festival returned for it’s second year in Nottingham this year. After helping out with Pint of Science’s ‘Tech me out’ series last year, our students were asked to put up a stall for their grand finale event, and the main event for their collaborations with Creative Reactions, promoting the link between Art and Science as well as celebrating the success of the festival. The Sheriff of Nottingham was fascinated and got a taste of the Additive Manufacturing world!
