The Institute for Aerospace Technology is excited to be training the next generation of researchers and academics in aerospace via our two doctoral training programmes.
We are proud to have been awarded funding from the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Innovative Training Network (ITN)
Innovative training networks bring together universities, research centres and companies from different countries worldwide to train a new generation of researchers.
The funding boosts scientific excellence and business innovation, and enhances researchers’ career prospects through developing their skills in entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation.
Our first programme “Innovate”, started in 2014 with 13 enthusiastic fellows from around the world joining us here in Nottingham.
We have just celebrated Innovate’s final year in 2017; you can read about their projects in the Innovate final project brochure.
The IAT has not stopped there. Our second programme of Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions fellows “Innovative” is now running with 23 Early Stage Researchers undertaking a range of exciting research projects in aerospace in the programme.
