Art therapy workshop
Too much coursework and life is too hectic?
Come and share your experience through the medium of art, unconventional drawing methods and making drawing tools. Experiment with a range of media such as charcoal, graphite, chalk, pen, coloured ink and brush.
Small and large-scale gestural mark-making will be encouraged to produce exciting creative collaborations!

Paul Henegan
Paul is a Nottingham-based Artist/Teacher with a studio at Surface Gallery, Nottingham where his focus is printmaking and 3D mixed media. Formerly, Paul was head of an Art department in a large secondary school teaching Art and Design to GCSE and A level. Paul teaches classes in Art for the public exploring various themes through printmaking and mixed media, most recently at Nottingham Justice Museum, Rufford Art Society as well as Surface gallery, studio 6. Marcia Porton
Marcia is a Brazilian artistteacher - amalgamated teacher body and creative body. She received her MFA in Visual Poetics (2008) and her BFA in Visual Arts (1987) from the same University, Unicamp - Campinas, Brazil. As an artist, Porto works in the symbolic field, creating non-linear narratives from large panels that she elaborates on the walls of her studio, where she gathers images and texts that she collects.
