Africa Research Group
The Africa Research Group is an international and interdisciplinary community of scholars interested in furthering the understanding of the management, organisational, socio-economic, investment, innovation and entrepreneurial issues relevant to African countries.
Established in 2012 at Nottingham University Business School, the Group aims to:
- conduct high quality research through collaboration
- inform and influence investors, managers and policy makers about the management and investment climate, opportunities and challenges in Africa
- disseminate research in high impact journals, books, conferences and press briefings
- enhance awareness of the role of the African Diaspora in the continent’s economic and industrial rejuvenation
- explore possible links with the Afro-Caribbean and other Diasporas
