Work, Employment and Organisation Research Group - WEORG
Our mission is to shape a sustainable future by improving people’s experience of work and by shaping a better, fairer and more resilient world of work.
Hosted by the Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management department at Nottingham University Business School, WEORG is an open and outward-looking research community that is dedicated to improving work and employment policies and practices.
Our vision:
Improving working lives
We support employees, employers, managers and HRM professionals, policy makers and a variety of organisations like non-governmental organisations (NGOs), trade unions and charities by investigating how society’s ‘grand challenges’ translate into the practical, everyday reality of work, employment, and organisation.
Research
Members of WEORG explore issues relating to the changing nature of work, equality, diversity, inclusion, sustainability and resilience in organisations.
Our research ranges from theoretical ideas and conceptual development to hands on work helping organisations to improve and improve the work they offer.
WEORG aims to:
- co-produce world-class research knowledge and co-develop impactful research
- deliver outstanding teaching and learning opportunities
- provide expert advice and co-develop tailored solutions
