Graduate Outcomes survey

What is the Graduate Outcomes survey
Graduate Outcomes is the biggest UK annual social survey and captures the perspectives and current status of recent graduates.
You will be asked to share your perspectives 15 months after graduation providing valuable insights into higher education for the next generation of students and enable them to make informed decisions about their future.
Did you ever look at league tables, like The Guardian University Guide or the Complete University Guide to help you choose where and what to study? If you did, then Graduate Outcomes data would have helped you get where you are today.
When will I be surveyed?
Depending when your course ends or ended, you will receive your survey invitation around 15 months later.
For 2023/24 graduates, if your course ends or ended
- between November 2023 and January 2024, you will be surveyed in March 2025
- between February and April 2024, you will be surveyed in June 2005
- between May and July 2024, you will be surveyed in September 2025
You’ll have approximately 12 weeks to complete the survey and you'll receive emails and texts to remind you to take part.

How will I be contacted?
HESA (Higher Education Statistics Agency) and their contractors deliver the survey on behalf of UK universities and colleges.
Around 15 months after graduation you will receive an invitation to complete the survey online through either:
- an email from universityofnottingham@graduateoutcomes.ac.uk
- an SMS message from GradOutcome
- a telephone call from researchers calling on behalf of University of Nottingham
