We are developing this website to bring you careers advice and resources to meet the needs of researchers at the university.

Prosper - Unlocking postdoc career potential

Prosper is a fresh approach to postdoc career development that seeks to unlock postdocs’ potential to thrive across multiple career pathways – both within and beyond academia. It was co-created with 120+ postdocs, as well as PIs, and employers.

Explore the Prosper Portal, a free-to-use online hub packed with insights and tools for developing yourself and your career – for postdocs regardless of disciplinary area.

On the Portal you can:

  • Reflect – Identify your strengths, skills, values and career goals.
  • Explore – Get insights from a wide range of employers in various sectors and discover opportunities and career pathways across 12 career clusters.
  • Act – Build practical career skills for effectively building professional networks, pursuing job opportunities, and developing in your current or future role.
  • Registering on the Portal for free unlocks the Career Development Navigator, which empowers you to customise Prosper’s resources to align to your unique career situation and trajectory.
