Undergraduate teaching
The undergraduate veterinary students at Nottingham are taught the skills of EVM during the undergraduate curriculum. In the final year. the CEVM team is involved with teaching the students while they are on clinical rotations, when we talk about EVM and its relevance to their careers.
We teach also teach them practical skills in:
• Writing good research questions
• Quick and easy searching for relevant clinical literature
• Basic critical appraisal
• Basic clinical data collection
We use BestBETs for Vets to teach them these skills and they are involved in the initial steps of developing a BET.
The students have been very positive about EVM and we would like to thank all past and present final years for their contribution to work of the CEVM—we appreciate their support!
