Baha'i Groups

Bahá’í group at University of Nottingham

The Bahá’í group aims to:

  • Provide a space for exploration of the Teachings of Bahá'u'lláh (The Founder of the Bahá’í Faith).
  • Explore the principle of the oneness of humankind, which it is hoped will encourage others to join Bahá’ís in their efforts to establish unity and fellowship on campus and in society at large.
  • Contribute and support to the ongoing inter-faith and religious activities on campus, to add a voice to academic and policy discussions and explore practices of social-economic development.
  • Work with other religious and humanitarian groups towards the common goal of creating consciousness of the need for action and establishing unity and fellowship on campus.
  • Highlight the search for spirituality, connection to God, and the need for science to be balanced by religion, itself viewed as a cultural force with great positive potential when supported by the methodology of scientific reason
