Professor Peter Ling delivers talk following publication

Prompted by his article in BBC History magazine "The Fight for Black America" (Christmas 2016), the History staff at Bedford Boys School invited Professor Peter Ling to give a talk to AS and A2 History students on "The Radicalism of Martin Luther King, Jr." on 11 November 2017.

American Studies Primary Discovery Day 2017

Description
The Department of American and Canadian Studies hosted a very successful American Studies primary discovery day on the 13 November 2017 for Year 6 pupils (10-11 year olds) from the Windmill LEAD Academy who engaged with an interactive session on the Civil Rights Movement.
